This track is loosely based on "The Last Stand" off of Fae Moonbeam's album, "Transitions". "The Last Stand" was, itself, originally based off of the very first song that Fae Moonbeam ever composed (originally for the piano), but it never turned out quite the way that Fae had wanted it.

"The Last Stand" was one of the few songs from "Transitions" that didn't make the cut for Fae & Seffi's first album, "Origin of Conflict", so Fae decided to compose a brand new version that she and Seffi could feel proud of featuring on their next Fae & Seffi album!
